Efforts have been made to more broadly integrate the different baseball organizations in Weston from Little League to Babe Ruth to American Legion to our High School teams. Little League has been a major recipient of these efforts, which include clinics led by Frank Fedeli, the varsity baseball coach at WHS assisted by a number of varsity players; LL Coaches Clinics last year and this year run by WHS varsity players; LL Pitching Clinics last year and this year run by WHS varsity players. 2009 will be even more active. We will continue activities supporting the HS program, and fund raising for the baseball facility and teams. Planned events include sponsoring a game at Harbor Yard. Funds raised from the Weston Diamond Club membership, yearbook, and clothing sales are focused on improving Weston baseball including funding an additional Assistant Coach and screens for foul balls.
